Duff House Royal Golf Course

The original Duff House Golf Club was formed in 1910 to a plan by prolific course designer James Braid. It was, however, redesigned in 1923 by the brilliant architect Dr Alister Mackenzie.
Duff House Royal Golf Course is a beautiful parkland course always kept in immaculate condition. It has little rough, but on most of the holes either the trees or the River Deveron are waiting for the wayward shots.

An ariel view of Duff House Royal, showing the River, Trees, the club house and Duff House itself
(in the middle of the trees).

The 7th at Duff House Royal

Great view of the 1st, 2nd & 18th, with the club house and a bit of Banff in the backgorund. Whatch out for the road at the 18th!!
Some feature holes
The 7th is a great golf hole, a very demanding 460 yard called 'Island'. The river is all the way up on your left, and there are both trees and well placed bunkers on the right.

The 12th is a tough par 5, it needs a draw round the trees to start, and then features a great view of Duff House from the fairway. The green is then on a plateau, making it very hard to hit and hold.

The 16th is a 220 yard par 3 where the river on the right and three bunkers on the left make hitting a straight tee shot a must!!!
