Buckpool
This links style course is surely one of Scotlands best kept secrets. Slightly elevated above the sea, it boasts superlative views across the Moray Firth.
This is a first class seaside test of ability.

Favourite Hole: 15th, an intimidating
par 3, only 150 yards of gorse to carry!
Duff House Royal

This is probably the best known course in the North East. A superb, flat parkland course, which is always in immaculate condition. This is a tough but fair course, bounded by the river Deveron, which comes into play at several of the holes.

Favourite Hole: The 7th, a long demanding par 4 with the River flowing all the way down the left.
Cullen

A quite spectactular, traditional seaside links, incorporating many blind tee shots. Cullen offers great views of the coastline, Cullen Bay and beyond. Quite simply a unique course.

Favourite Hole: 7th, magnificent panoramic views from the tee of this
long par 3.
Garmouth & Kingston
An very pleasant links course with some parkland type holes. An easy walking course which is not to demanding. Tricky holes and accuracy is a feature, with tight approach shots to guarded greens.

Favourite Hole: 17th, tough par 5 with the dreaded gorse on both sides.
Huntly
An undemanding rolling parkland course set between the rivers of Deveron and Bogie with a burn running across four holes. Ideal for golfers who like a leisurely game in very pleasant souroundings.

Favourite Hole: 2nd, picturesque hole backed by Huntly Castle.
Spey Bay
This is a traditional seaside links course, situated right on the Moray Firth coast. A tough course with narrow, undulating fairways lined by gorse and heather. Bordered on one side by a shingly beach.

Favourite Hole: 8th, at 138 yards it sounds easy, but it has a raised green that is hard to hold.
Strathlene
A superbly maintained raised links course with some lovely views of the Moray Firth. The course makes full use of the undulating land, gullys and raised greens. A good test for all levels of golfer.

Favourite Hole: 6th, dog leg to the right onto a raised green, with trouble on both sides. Accuracy is a must!
Royal Tarlair
A clifftop parkland course with panoramic views of the Moray Firth coastline. This course has plenty of variety with some memorable holes.

Favourite Hole: 13th, the famous Clivet hotel, any ball short of this 152 yards par 3 is gone forever!
Turriff
A beautiful, well established parkland course with wonderful views. This is a tight course with fairways lined by mature trees. The river Deveron and the Turra burn also come into play.

Favourite Hole: 6th, a long par 4 from the yellow tees with a pond in front of the green. It takes 2 wonderfull shots to get to the green.
Moray Old
A terrific traditional seaside links course, designed by Tom Morris, said by many to be one of the finest in Scotland. The course has deep revetted bunkers, undulating gorse lined fairways and smooth fast greens. It is a superb test of golf with seven par fours over 400 yards.

Distance from hotel: 25 miles
Favourite Hole: 18th, Out of bounds to the right and a line of bunkers to the left make this a classic par 4 to finish.
Moray New
Shorter than the old course, however tighter fairways and smaller greens still make this a stern challenge. Converted to 18 holes by Henry Cotton in 1979.
