The Station Hotel is part of the Visit Scotland Walkers welcome scheme, which is only given to
establishments which offer special facilities for walkers, which include-
1. Drying facilities for wet outdoor clothing and footwear.
2. A hot drink on arrival
3. A late evening meal (available until 8:00 pm) if there are no other options within one mile, a late snack should be offered after 8:00 pm
4. Early breakfast from 7 am, or for very early leavers a tray the night before.
5. A packed lunch - should you request one - or your flask filled
6. information about local walking routes, local public transport and a weather forecast.
